The Acacia programme is a collaborative project run by a partnership of government agencies to investigate and define the requirements for a single national infrastructure of joined-up, consistent, high quality, well-maintained addresses and property information.

The Acacia partnership comprises Ordnance Survey (OS), Land Registry, Registers of Scotland (RoS), Valuation Office Agency (VOA), Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), and the Royal Mail. They concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (Ref 1), signed in September 2002, that documents the intention of each member to develop and implement the Acacia programme.

The following are documents that were prepared for the programme between 2003 and 2004.
