Practice Material

Land Registry has published a new set of material to help you to understand the new practice and procedures under the 2002 Act. You can view or download the material from this site.

Practice Guides - provide full and detailed guidance concerning applications to Land Registry under the new Act. They are mostly aimed at solicitors licensed conveyancers and other legal advisers.

Practice Bulletins - provide up to date information on selected topics such as temporary procedures and new items. These are aimed variously at the legal profession and members of the public.

Public Guides - Public Guides are for lay people and cover a range of subjects that a lay person might deal with. The subject matter of the Public Guides overlaps to an extent with that of the Practice Guides.

Forms - from 13 October 2003 all Land Registry forms have changed. The new forms are referred to in the practice material. You can also download these from this site.
