Performance

The following is a list of the key events of 2003-04.

• All Key Performance Targets were met.
• The Land Registration Act 2002 and the Land Registration Rules 2003 were successfully brought into force on 13 October. 
• A major publicity campaign took place prior to the implementation of the new Act and Rules, with 8,000 members of staff and 20,000 practitioners being provided with training and assistance. 
• A record intake was matched by a record output. 
• Over 88 per cent of registrations were processed within 20 working days. 
• All registers are now capable of electronic delivery. 
• The Index Map has been fully vectorised. 
• The e-discharge pilot has been successfully implemented.
• 1,300 register view requests per day on Land Register Online.
